What is an S.R.O.?

An S.R.O. is similar to a Limited Liability Company. (Ltd.)

There can be shared ownership of an S.R.O. but, an S.R.O. does not issue shares.

The total minimum investment for a Czech S.R.O. is 200,000 Kc.

The legal minimum investment per partner is 20.000 Kc .

An S.R.O. is a legal entity in its own right and the company answers with all its assets for the non-fulfillment of its liabilities, whereas the owners/investors are liable only for the amount of their registered investment.
The total investment for the company to be registered with the Czech courts must be held in a bank account in the company's name and this account will be "locked" by law during of the establishment period of the company. (10 working days)

The scope of business of the S.R.O. must also be written into the founders deeds of the company.
A standard trading S.R.O. will require at least one trade license/(zivnostensky list).

Each S.R.O. must have a registered address or "sidlo". It is possible for the sidlo of your company to be anywhere in the Czech Republic.
