Trade court Changes

Along with all the visa changes that happened at the beginning of 2011, the legal requirement for 3rd country nationals to register their zivnostensky list with the trade courts has been removed.

Right now we are searching for information but, we understand that the whole trade court registration for 3rd country nationals has been signed out of law.

There is no longer the 5000 czk trade court fee for non EU citizens when applying for a zivnostensky list.

The law came into force at the beginning of 2011.
This means that right now the zivnostensky Urads are only just working out how the new system works.

This will mostly effect new applications.

These changes are not fully settled. Because the rules are so new the Urads do not really know themselves. This is not their fault. They are doing what they can with the new rules.

If you have just applied for a visa or are going to apply for a visa based on a zivnostenksy list, then you can skip the part about registering with the trade courts and save 5000 czk on the whole process.

No one knows if or how this will affect visa renewals if your visa is based on a zivnostensky list.

If you are EU or married to an EU citizen then this should not affect you at all.

More to follow.
