If you carry out work in the CR or outside the CR on a zivnostensky list, you are considered to be self employed.
That is:
(OSVČ) osoby samostatně výdělečně činné
(SVČ) samostatně výdělečně činné
This is roughly what the social securtiy leaflet from their website says:
Once you become self employed (open a zivnost) you must notify you district Social Security offices (OSSZ) by the eighth day of the month following the month in which you commenced working and, on the form "Notification on self-employment ".
If you change your residence, you must immediately inform OSSZ.
When suspending or resuming your zivnost (SVČ), you must report it to the Scoial offices by the eighth day of the following month.
